State, Innovation, Science and Talents in Measuring the Digital Economy (UK Case Study)
Abstract
The development of the digital economy has led to the practical implementation of the digital transformation of all aspects of human activity. This is not only trade, construction, firefighting or water supply, but huge transport projects of the digital railway class and the transformation of cities and energy systems. Digital transformation is inevitably exposed both educational and social sphere, as suppliers of new solutions, and suppliers of solutions already working for the digital economy. Accordingly, there is an important question - what to take into account in the statistical indicators of the digital economy? How to measure digital transformations? The methodology for determining the size and dynamics of the digital sector in the economy is extremely important. In this paper, we discuss the measurements for a digital economy on the examples of UK.
