Abstract

— This article presents a theoretical overview and analysis of the use of artificial intelligence technologies in urban passenger transport systems to create an urban transport system based on the principles of mobility as a service. The authors demonstrate the interrelationship of technologies in the subject area of urban mobility management based on the principles of mobility as a service and intelligent mobility in the form of the structure of the conceptual field of artificial intelligence. The main functions and features of using artificial intelligence to solve transport system problems based on the concept of mobility as a service are defined. These functions include route planning, transport selection, route congestion assessment, trip booking, schedule checking and travel time calculation, tracking route changes, and collecting feedback and suggestions. Taking into account the implementation of the identified functions, the authors developed a class diagram for an urban transport information support system and provided a description of the main elements of such a system in the form of a diagram using a unified modeling language. The advantages of implementing artificial intelligence in urban transport systems are analyzed.
