Development of a business model for building scientific activities on the example of JSC Atomenergoproekt

Abstract


In the period of globalization and digitalization, innovation and science have become key factors for the success of companies. Especially for engineering companies that are engaged in the design and development of technology, scientific activity is the basis of innovative development and a key factor of competitiveness. Therefore, the development of a business model in an engineering company is an urgent topic in modern realities. The business model describes key business processes, resources, cost structure, revenue, and ways to interact with customers and partners. The business model is one of the most important tools for forming a company's strategy and ensuring its successful development. This article is devoted to the development of a business model for scientific activity on the example of JSC Atomenergoproekt. The authors conducted a study analyzing the main aspects of the company's scientific activities and identifying problem areas. The purpose of the study was to propose a conceptual business model that contributes to the optimization of the scientific activities of JSC Atomenergoproekt and ensuring its sustainable development. The article presents the conclusions confirming the need to develop effective strategies and methods of scientific activity management. The proposed business model provides opportunities for expanding the company's scientific activities, increasing its competitiveness and developing innovations. The research has practical significance and can be useful for companies engaged in scientific research, striving for efficient use of resources and management of innovation processes.
